Pret a Manger \| stores through the UK Agile spent many months evolving Pret a Manger’s shop design, store by store, helping them to provide a more welcoming experience for their customers and to reflect better the high quality of their food and drink An important element of every store we worked on was that the design was appropriate to the neighbourhood: a store that’s a big hit in Newcastle would not sit comfortably in South Kensington. "Since your introduction to Pret at the end of last year you have made a tremendous impact on our design, our team and our ability to build shops. You have worked seamlessly with us and have helped push the design forwards with sympathetic consideration for our existing style. South Kensington is seen by many as the most successfully designed shop of recent years and is testament to your ability to understand and grasp exactly what Pret needs." Lovejuice \| stores through the UK On the verge of opening a vast programme of new units, Agile is working intensively with Lovejuice to refine and develop their shop design and brand identity. Looking at all aspects of their stores from the operational requirements to graphics, Lovejuice is now winning prestigious and coveted locations throughout the country. Foo•go \| Lincoln & Epic Centre Foo•go source fresh, natural ingredients to make truly delicious convenience food. For the design of their flagship Lincoln cafe, Agile has considered every detail from sourcing drinking glasses made from local recycled wine bottles to designing the trolley dolly. The trolleys are fabricated from Jesmonite, an environmentally friendly acrylic based material. Agile is also designing mobile kiosks which are to be made using solely local, environmentally friendly materials.
Itsu \| Heathrow Terminal 5 Working within this vast space, it was key to ensure this site became a beacon of Health and Happiness. The butterfly totems highlight the site on entry to the departure levels whilst the interior of the island unit has been designed to be a haven within this stark space.
West Cornwall Pasty Company \| Edinburgh Airport With our help West Cornwall Pasty Company won the tender to be one of the providers of food at this BAA airport.
Micaela \| San Fransisco The design of this small 500 sq. ft. store in San Francisco involved wrapping the space with 3" strips of unfinished bamboo panelling, a rough finish to contrast with the valuable antiques and objects the store sells. The design won the Iternational Design Excellence Gold Award and was overall winner of Best Retail Space in the USA 1999.
